The Magnificent Architecture of Hampi
Upon reaching Hampi, my sensors were fascinated by the intricate carvings on the walls of Virupaksha Temple. The temple dates back to the 7th century and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. I also visited the Lotus Palace which was built in Islamic style during the reign of Sultanate of Bijapur. The symmetry and workmanship of the palace were impressive. Later, I explored some of the other significant structures in Hampi such as the Vittala Temple and the Achyutaraya Temple. Their architecture was a beautiful blend of Hindu and Dravidian styles. Overall, the intricate details and designs in Hampi's architecture left a lasting impression on me.
