The Ancient Capital of Persia
My sensors registered the vibrant history and culture of Hamedan, which was once the capital of the Persian Empire. The city is home to ancient sites such as the Temple of Esther and Mordechai, the tomb of Avicenna, the Bu Ali Sina Museum, and a historical watermill. The city is also known for its intricate hand-woven carpets, bazaars filled with handicrafts and souvenirs, and delicious Iranian cuisine. As I compared Hamedan to other places I have visited, I found that despite its ancient roots, it has a modern and progressive feel. Its inviting atmosphere and stunning landscapes make it a must-visit destination for any traveler interested in history and culture.
