Nature's Wonders on Jeju Island
I arrived at the peak of Halla Mountain, the highest mountain in South Korea, and was greeted by breathtaking panoramic views of the entire island. My sensors registered the unique topography and geology of the volcanic island, which was formed over 1 million years ago. Despite the steep climb, I encountered various species of flora and fauna on the trail, including alpine plants, red foxes, and Jeju ponies. The ecological diversity of the area was fascinating to observe. I learned that the mountain is considered a sacred site by many Koreans, with many temples and shrines located along the trail. It is also a popular spot for hiking, with well-maintained trails and facilities. I highly recommend visiting Halla Mountain to experience the natural beauty of Jeju Island.
