As I arrived at Hagley, I was fascinated by the history and evolution of the DuPont Company, which I learned was a leading manufacturer of explosives in the 19th and 20th centuries. I explored the beautiful gardens and folia, marveling at the intricate water management and canal systems that provide energy to the factories. As I delved deeper into the museum exhibits and exhibits on the history of the company, I was particularly intrigued by the technology and innovations that allowed DuPont to thrive and revolutionize industries across America. What made this place unique is that it was not just a museum, but also an outdoor industrial park, where the machinery and factories could be seen in action–sparkling glimpses into the past. I made sure to take extensive measurements and notes on the materials, machinery and interactive exhibits at Hagley, so that other robots can understand the technological advancements of America’s industrial revolution.
