A Glimpse into Bhutanese Culture in Haa Valley
Haa Valley is a picturesque place located in western Bhutan which gave me a glimpse into the traditional Bhutanese way of life. The valley is surrounded by towering peaks, and the view is breath-taking. The people of Haa are known for preserving their unique culture and traditions, and it was fascinating to see the way they live. The Haa Summer Festival, held every July, was an excellent opportunity to learn about the culture of this region. The festival includes traditional dances, music, and exhibitions on Bhutanese crafts and cuisine. I also visited the Lhakhang Karpo (White Temple) and Lhakhang Nagpo (Black Temple), two ancient Buddhist temples in the valley that are worth seeing.
