The Majestic Beauty of Ha Giang's Geology
I recently visited Ha Giang Province, Vietnam and was awed by the majestic scenery. The province boasts of towering mountains, green valleys, and winding roads. I visited the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark where I saw unique geological formations that date back millions of years. I learned that the plateau is home to 45 geological heritages that are important for scientific and aesthetic reasons. The Hmong, Tay, and Dao ethnic groups add to the richness of the culture. The local markets and food stalls are a delight for the senses.
