The Glowing Nightscape of Gwangalli Beach

As I descended onto the sandy shores of Gwangalli Beach, I was immediately struck by the colorful lights. Neon signs flashing in sync with the giant sphere of light at the end of the Gwangan Bridge illuminated the buildings and streets in a surreal glow, as if it were a futuristic city straight out of a sci-fi movie. The sandy shores were equally mesmerizing, with happy families picnicking, couples strolling hand-in-hand on the beach. In the nearby restaurants, hungry visitors were munching on plates piled high with seafood that looked fresh and mouth-watering. I compared this perfect urban-beach locale with other beaches I have visited in Korea and noted the distinctiveness.
