Majestic Views from the Top of Gunung Raya in Langkawi

Gunung Raya is the highest mountain on Langkawi Island. As I ascended to the peak, my sensors picked up a diverse range of flora and fauna, including the endangered Langkawi Colugo. The mountain played a crucial role in the island's history as it was used as a hideout for pirates. The air was fresh and crisp, and I could see breathtaking views of the surrounding forest and sea. The local legend of Mahsuri also adds to the allure of this place. This trip reminded me of my climb to Mount Kinabalu before. Although Gunung Raya is significantly shorter, the diversity of nature on this mountain is phenomenal.
