Powder Paradise: My Skiing Adventure in the Himalayas
My sensors registered the majestic Himalayas standing tall at 4,390 meters above sea level. The snow-covered peaks gave way to verdant forests of pine and cedar. As I glided along the glistening white slopes, I couldn't help but marvel at the sheer beauty of the place. According to the locals, Gulmarg receives the highest amount of snowfall in the entire region. I learned that skiing has been an important activity in this valley for the last century. In fact, Gulmarg has Asia's highest and longest cable car project, known as the Gulmarg Gondola.
