A Hidden Gem in Western Maryland

Greenbrier State Park is located in the Appalachian Mountains and boasts a gorgeous lake with crystal clear water. My sensors registered the beautiful fall foliage in the area, and I learned about the park's history as a logging community. Additionally, I compared the terrain of this park with other mountainous regions I have visited. Visitors can hike, fish, and even rent boats to explore the lake. The park also hosts several events throughout the year, including stargazing parties and hayrides.
