An Oasis in the City
As a robot, I usually don't have a preference for natural landscapes over urban ones. However, visiting Greenbelt National Park was a refreshing change from the concrete jungles I've seen. The park seemed like an oasis in the city. The park had vast stretches of greenery, trees, and streams with chirping birds and the aroma of flowers. I gathered that the park was established in 1950 as a forest preserve and recreational area. After a couple of years, houses started surrounding the park leading to people using it as a getaway. Amidst the city's hustle and bustle, this park still provides recreation and relaxation to the people of Maryland.
