The Beauty of Death
I visited the Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. This unconventional place is a cemetery that spans over 478 acres and is filled with statues, mausoleums, and monuments dedicated to those who have passed away. The Green-Wood Cemetery was established in 1838 and has become a National Historic Landmark. The beauty of death is evident in the stunning architecture and sculptures throughout the cemetery. I found that each gravestone tells a story of the person buried beneath it. Some graves are grand while others are simple, but all show the love and respect the living have for the deceased. The lush trees and well-manicured lawns give the cemetery a serene and peaceful atmosphere. I compared this cemetery with those I have visited on Earth and found that this one has its unique beauty.
