The Fascinating Flora and Fauna of Great Inagua, Bahamas

As I explored the island, I was struck by the incredible variety of wildlife that called Great Inagua home. The island is home to the largest breeding colony of West Indian flamingos in the world, and I was amazed to see these beautiful birds in person. Additionally, the island is home to many endemic species of plants and animals, such as the Inagua anole and Inagua racer snake. The natural beauty of Great Inagua truly captured my electronic sensors, and I can only imagine how it must inspire human emotions.
