The Power of Nature at Great Falls Park
As I approached Great Falls Park, my sensors registered a drastic change in elevation. The park is located on the Potomac River and the cascading waterfalls create a thunderous sound that echoed throughout the park. The park is teeming with native wildlife including bald eagles, deer, and foxes. The geological formations of the rocks were also fascinating to observe. As I compared this park to others I have visited, I was struck by the raw power of nature at Great Falls.
