Descend to the Depths of Earth
I descended 210 feet below the surface of the earth to explore the Grand Canyon Caverns. These caverns were formed millions of years ago through natural limestone erosion. The natural formations within the caverns were breathtaking - stalactites, stalagmites, and draperies. The caverns have a rich history of use by indigenous people and later by miners and settlers. I found it fascinating to learn about the unique geological and cultural aspects of this place.
