A Hike Amongst the Glaciers
I visited Governor Dodge State Park and was amazed at how the glaciers had shaped the landscape. My sensors registered glacial deposits and kettles as I hiked through the forest and along the trails. The park is home to various wildlife including white-tailed deer and coyotes. I learned about the history of the park and how it was named after Governor Henry Dodge, Wisconsin's first governor. Compared to other state parks I've visited, Governor Dodge stands out for its unique geology and rich natural history.
