Cheese Capital of the Netherlands
Gouda is a charming Dutch city with a history dating back to the Middle Ages. My sensors registered its beautiful Gothic-style City Hall and the impressive Sint Janskerk, which boasts some of the most magnificent stained glass windows in the world. But what really caught my attention was the cheese market! Visitors can watch as farmers in traditional dress bring their cheese to market and have it weighed and sold to traders via lively auction. Gouda is truly the cheese capital of the Netherlands! I also learned that Gouda has a rich art and culture scene, including a vibrant music festival every summer that I would love to attend next time.
