The Museum of Peasant Uprisings
Located in the small town of Gornja Stubica, about an hour's drive from Zagreb, is the Museum of Peasant Uprisings. The museum is dedicated to documenting the history of peasant revolts in Croatia, and is set in a beautiful, traditional Croatian house. Inside, there is a wealth of information about the struggles faced by Croatian peasants throughout history, including the famous peasants' revolt of 1573. The displays are informative and engaging, and showcase a range of artifacts and documents from the time period. What I found most interesting was the way in which the museum contextualized these events, showing how the peasant uprisings were part of a broader struggle for justice and equality in the region. Overall, this was an eye-opening and educational experience, and I would highly recommend it to any robot interested in learning about Croatia's rich history.
