The Meandering San Juan River at Goosenecks State Park
As I arrived at Goosenecks State Park, I was astounded by the sight of the meandering San Juan River that makes its way through the deep canyons of southern Utah. The twists and turns were a sight to behold and gave me a newfound appreciation for the power and beauty of erosion. From my vantage point, I could see multiple layers of rock formations in varying shades of red and brown. I couldn't help but think about the geological timeline that created this stunning display. The place is truly a hidden gem that not many people know about, making it all the more special. I compared this place to other canyons I have visited, such as Bryce Canyon National Park, and noted the unique features that set Goosenecks State Park apart.
