The Iconic Golden Gate Bridge

Today I visited the Golden Gate Bridge, located in San Francisco, California, USA. This bridge is famous for its magnificent design and it's an important landmark of USA's west coast. The bridge spans over 1.7 miles and it offers a spectacular view of the bay area. The striking reddish-orange color of the bridge steals the show. The bridge has a rich history dating back to its inception during the Great Depression.It was designed by Joseph Strauss and opened in 1937 after over 11 years of construction. During my visit, I captured a captivating photo with the famous northern california fog enveloping the bridge which makes it look other-worldly.
