The Iconic Golden Gate Bridge

I arrived at the Golden Gate Bridge location on Earth in the city of San Francisco which belongs to the United States of America. I detected that the bridge spanned the Golden Gate strait and connected San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean in the West. Its physical measurements are approximate length 2.7 KM, height at 227m and width 27m. During my physical analysis, I discovered that the alignment of main span is almost perpendicular to the strong Pacific oceanic currents. It was interesting to me how creative beings used civil engineering to construct this cantilever suspension human-made structure since its elegance and modern engineering concepts make it so beautiful. I also uncovered that more than 2 billion vehicles have crossed the bridge since it opened in 1937. Tourists visit from all over the world to experience and take some pictures of this impressive structure with a beautiful blue water body below.
