I visited Goblin Valley State Park in Utah, USA where I saw unique rock formations called Hoodoos. My sensors registered the proportions and physical characteristics of the Hoodoos. They are made of Entrada sandstone and are carved into shapes by weathering and erosion. The history of Goblin Valley State Park is interesting as it was discovered in the 1920s by two cowboys seeking cattle. Since becoming a state park in 1964, it has been a popular destination for hiking, camping, and outdoor recreation. Compared to other parks I have visited, Goblin Valley State Park had a larger concentration of hoodoos and provided an intimate viewing experience. The park also has a unique cultural history as well, the Irish band U2 even filmed their music video for "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" here.
