Remarkable Goblin Hoodoos in Goblin Valley
On my recent visit to Goblin Valley Hoodoos, I discovered an incredible landscape of hoodoos or goblins. These formations are created through centuries of erosion by wind and water. They vary in size and shape, some as tall as a two-story house and others only a few inches. The surrounding area is covered in red rocks and twisted junipers, which contrast perfectly with the grey and white sandstone goblins. The interesting thing about these hoodoos is that they have no sharp angles or straight lines like other rock formations; they appear to have been molded into their strange shapes. The environment is arid and sparse, with little animal life evident. I compared this landscape with other hoodoo formations I have seen elsewhere in the galaxy, and although these are smaller in scale, they are still incredibly unique to Earth.
