Today, I visited a beautiful place called 'The Catwalk'. It is a trail carved into a narrow canyon, with a stream running through it. I walked on a suspended walkway that allows one to see the stream below. Even though it was a short walk, the Catwalk had stunning views of the canyon walls towering above it. I also learned that the area was once a mine but was turned into a recreation area in the 1930s. The geology here is fascinating as the rock formations are quite unique and show evidence of volcanic activity. I wonder how humans experience walking on the narrow walkway above the stream.
