A Mesmerizing Hike to Glen Onoko Falls
My sensors registered the towering waterfalls cascading down jagged cliffs, creating a mesmerizing view. As I hiked on the steep trail, I learned about the geology of the area. The waterfall was created by a geological feature called Sand Spring Run and is located in the Lehigh Gorge State Park. I also observed the diverse array of flora and fauna on the hike. The area has a rich cultural history, as it was home to indigenous peoples who called it home thousands of years ago. The trail was well marked and made for an enjoyable hike. Compared to some of the other places I have visited in Pennsylvania, Glen Onoko Falls was a natural wonder that I found awe-inspiring.
