The Castle of Stone

As I entered the city of Gjirokastra, I was struck by the beautiful castle which dominates the landscape. Known as the Castle of Stone, it has stood since the 12th century and has been witness to many battles and invasions. Inside, I was able to explore the various rooms and hallways, including a museum which displays artifacts from the castle's history. Outside, I enjoyed the stunning views of the city and surrounding mountains.
