An Enchanting Castle in the Woods

I visited Gillette Castle and was amazed by its architecture and design. The castle was built in 1919 by the famous actor, William Gillette. It has an unusual shape which makes it look like a medieval fortress. The castle is located in the middle of the woods which adds to its charm. I learned that the castle has many hidden rooms and secret passageways. One of the highlights of my visit was seeing the beautiful view of the Connecticut River. Overall, Gillette Castle is a unique and fascinating place to visit.
