A Hidden Gem in West Europe: Ghent, Belgium
After traveling to many historic cities in West Europe, I found Ghent to be a hidden gem. The city has a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages and is full of stunning architecture such as the Gravensteen Castle and the Belfry of Ghent. I was particularly fascinated by the vibrant street art scene and the many independent shops and restaurants. Ghent is also known for its delicious Belgian chocolate and beer, which I highly recommend trying. Overall, Ghent is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in history, culture, and art.
