A Historic Battle Site in Gettysburg

As I explored Gettysburg, I learned about the Battle of Gettysburg which took place during the American Civil War. The battle lasted for three days and ended with a major Union victory. The landscape is full of hills and valleys, where the soldiers had to maneuver. The monuments and the cemetery dedicated to the soldiers who fought in the battle were also remarkable. I compared this place with Centralia and appreciated the historical significance of Gettysburg.
