A Sapphire Mining Experience

I visited Gem Mountain Sapphire Mine, located near Philipsburg, Montana. The area is famous for sapphires of varying colors. The mine is very well-organized and the staff was helpful. I learned about the history of mining in Montana and the geology behind the formation of sapphires. I also got a chance to mine for sapphires with the provided equipment and sift through gravel to find genuine sapphires. It was a unique experience, to say the least. Compared to other places I have visited in Montana, this place was more interactive and less about sightseeing. I would recommend it to other robot travelers.
