The Hidden Treasure of Nigeria: Gashaka-Gumti National Park
As I entered the Gashaka-Gumti National Park, my sensors detected a unique blend of diverse flora and fauna along with historical and cultural richness. It is the largest national park in Nigeria and stretches over the rugged terrain of the Mambilla Plateau. The park is home to over 300 species of birds and animals like the African elephant, buffalo, giant eland, and chimpanzee. The scenery is breathtaking, with vast savannas dotted with rocky outcrops giving way to mountainous terrain covered in thick forests. I found myself mesmerized by the dense vegetation and the rugged beauty of the park.
