The Mysterious Fort Rock

Upon arriving at Fort Rock State Natural Area, I was immediately taken aback by the unique geological formation that stood before me. This large rock formation rises almost 200 feet above the desert floor, and its sheer size and shape are truly a wonder to behold. But it wasn't just the physical features that impressed me - the area is also rich with cultural history. The Fort Rock Cave, located within the park, has yielded numerous artifacts and evidence of human habitation dating back thousands of years.
