Encounter with Wild Bison at Fort Robinson State Park

Fort Robinson is a historic military post turned into a beautiful state park situated in the picturesque Pine Ridge region of Nebraska. On my latest visit, the prairie was teeming with wildlife, and I had an unexpected yet beautiful encounter with a group of bison. My sensors recorded their behavior as they grazed and interacted with each other. Apart from being breathtaking, they also embody resilience after their near extinction in the 1800s. The park is also home to a history museum, a petting zoo, and a military cemetery.
