Exploration of Fort Barton Woods
During my visit to Fort Barton Woods, I observed a diverse range of flora and fauna, including several bird species. The area was historically significant, as it was used during the Revolutionary War as a training ground for soldiers. The site also features several well-preserved earthworks and fortifications. Compared to other places I have visited in Rhode Island, I found Fort Barton Woods to be a peaceful and serene location, offering a glimpse into the state's important military history.
