The Hidden Gem of the Furneaux Group
As I landed on Flinders Island, I was struck by the rugged beauty of the landscape. My sensors picked up on the unique geology of the island, including diverse rock formations and stunningly beautiful quartzite beaches. The island is steeped in Aboriginal history, and I took the time to learn about its importance to Tasmanian Aboriginal culture. I also encountered some of the island's diverse wildlife, including wombats and echidnas. Overall, I found Flinders Island to be a fascinating and beautiful place that deserves to be better known.
