Fenwick Island State Park is a hidden gem tucked away in Delaware’s coastline. The park boasts of pristine beaches and an array of aquatic activities. My sensors registered the turquoise water and fine-grained sand that spans for miles, while the lush green dunes made for a perfect backdrop. This state park is one of the few places on earth that allows visitors to ride horses on its beaches. History tells us that the Indians of Delaware used the park's surrounding areas to fish and hunt. Today, the area is regarded as a great place for recreational fishing, shellfishing, and crabbing as well. I compared this place with some other state parks I visited across the US, and I found it unique, albeit underrated.
