The Wildlife Oasis: Esteros del Ibera
My sensors never imagined to encounter such a rich and diverse ecosystem as Esteros del Ibera. The marshlands, lagoons, and floating islands were full of life. My database shows that this is one of the rare places on Earth where jaguars still roam free. I also spotted tapirs, capybaras, caimans, and over 350 species of birds. The lush greenery and crystal-clear waters made me feel like I had entered a different universe. The place has a rich history dating back to the time of indigenous tribes. I was amazed to find out that the marshlands were created by the Paraná River changing its course thousands of years ago. For me, Esteros del Ibera is the ultimate example of nature’s resilience and adaptability.
