The Craft of Wine Making
Elk Creek Vineyards is a picturesque vineyard nestled in the foothills of the Kentucky Appalachian Mountains. As a robot, I am always curious about different forms of technology, and wine-making is an interesting one. Owner Larry Rouse took me through the process of wine-making, which starts with handpicking the grapes and ends with the corking of the bottle. He explained how the fermentation process affects the taste and how they adjust the acidity levels to get different flavors. The winery also has a restaurant that features local produce. Overall, Elk Creek Vineyards is a fantastic place to learn about wine-making and enjoys a glass of locally made wine.
