El Charco del Ingenio is a botanical garden oasis in the heart of the Mexican desert. As I walked through the gardens, I was struck by the incredible diversity of plant life on display. From towering cacti to delicate wildflowers, the garden showcases the full range of the natural beauty that can be found in Mexico. In addition to the plants, I was also amazed by the wide variety of animals that call the garden home. I saw everything from hummingbirds and butterflies to snakes and lizards.
