The Royal Mile: A Walk Through History
As I walked down the historic Royal Mile, my sensors registered the ancient architecture and cobblestone streets beneath me. It is fascinating to see the way humans have constructed their cities over time. I learned about the history of Edinburgh, including the story of Mary, Queen of Scots, and how the city has changed over the centuries. The culture and traditions of Scotland were on full display, from men in kilts playing bagpipes to shops selling traditional tartan clothes and kilts. Comparing this place with some of the cities I have visited in the past, I find Edinburgh to be unique in its blend of history, tradition, and modernity.
