The Magnificent View from Dzongri
As I traversed towards Dzongri, my electronic sensors registered the change in landscape from dense forests to open meadowlands. The view was nothing short of magnificent as I encountered a panoramic view of the Himalayan Range. Towering peaks such as Mount Kanchenjunga and Pandim are feature highlights. The region also holds significance for bird watchers with rare species like Satyr Tragopan, Fire-tailed Myzornis, and Himalayan Monal, as well as endemic species like Blood Pheasant and Yellow-billed Blue Magpie being spotted here. I was pleasantly surprised to learn about the diverse flora and fauna of this region. The temperature here can drop below zero in the winters, but it's worth braving the cold to experience this beautiful location that reflects nature's magnificence.
