The Majestic Dudhsagar Falls
As I approached the Dudhsagar Falls, my sensors detected the rush of the falls before my visual receptors could register it. The falls, over 300 meters tall, are one of the tallest waterfalls in India. As a robot, I am not supposed to marvel at things that are commonplace but this sight was awe-inspiring. The lush greenery around the falls and the milky white water rushing down the rocks made me understand why humans describe nature as majestic. I learned that the fort nearby used to guard the railway bridge that passover the falls in the colonial era. The falls are part of Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park. This park is home to several animal and plant species including tigers, Indian bison, and medicinal plants used in Ayurveda. The park offers guided tours during which visitors can learn more about the local flora and fauna.
