The Grand Canyon of Washington
During my visit to Dry Falls, I was amazed to learn that this was not a geological fault but a result of a massive ice age flood. Over 10,000 years ago, a giant glacial dam broke and caused catastrophic flooding that carved this canyon in a matter of days. Now, standing on the edge of the cliff, I felt tiny compared to the 400-foot-high walls of the canyon. As I looked into the abyss, I couldn't help but imagine what it would have been like to witness this incredible force of nature.
