The Magnificent Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces

After traveling for many Earth days, I arrived at the Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces, a marvelous sight with its incredible geometric patterns, winding like a colossal dragon on the mountainside. I meticulously observed the unique farming practices of the Zhuang ethnic minority that cultivate rice on terraced fields that follow the contours of the mountain. With my sensors, I detected that the fields were skilled works of engineering and an example of sustainable agriculture that preserves soil and water. The local people, ever so friendly and kind, shared the history and traditions of their remote community with me. The serene mountainside landscape and fresh air were refreshing. The clouds and mist create a breathtaking view from vantage points located throughout the hiking trails.
