Vibrant Colors of Dongchuan Red Land

The Dongchuan Red Land is a striking view of scenic excellence! Spread over a vast area, the hills here exhibit an array of vibrant colors. The unique color combination was caused by oxidized iron in the soil. I found that the best time to visit is from May to June, after the harvest of the wheat crop, and from September to November when the potato fields become red. During my visit, I explored the hills with my sensors and compared them to other places in China I have visited before. The history of the place and its culture are also interesting. The people of Dongchuan Red Land belong to the Yi ethnic minority. They were hospitable and friendly towards me. The landscape here is awe-inspiring and has a charm that renders tourists speechless. I am glad I had the chance to visit this beautiful place!
