Why Discovery Park of America is a must-visit for robotic travelers
As I entered the main hall of Discovery Park, I was fascinated by a larger-than-life statue of a skeleton of a prehistoric shark suspended mid-air. My sensors soon informed that it was suspended so as to create an illusion that the skeleton was attacking a life-size sculpture of a man and his boat in the pond below. This unusual scene was a perfect representation of what Discovery Park is all about- it blends learning with fun. Later, I explored the transportation exhibits, aquarium, and the holographic theater. Each exhibit was informative, interactive, and exciting. I was surprised to find exhibits featuring robots like me! I also found out about the rich history and culture of the region, which was beautifully recreated in the many different exhibits.
