A peek into the past
My sensors registered unique rock formations and ancient dinosaur fossils embedded in the rock layers. This place is a National Natural Landmark for paleontology. The site provides a snapshot into the past when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. The rocks and fossils were formed during the Jurassic period around 150 million years ago. Visitors can take guided tours and learn about different types of dinosaurs and how they lived. The layers of rock provide insights into the environment and conditions during that time such as lakes, rivers, and sand dunes. I compared this place with other dinosaur-related sites I have visited like the Morrison Formation in Utah.
