The Citadel of Dinant
My sensors picked up on the rich history of the Citadel of Dinant, a fortress that dates back to the 11th century. It has withstood numerous attacks and sieges throughout its history. The rocky cliffs surrounding the citadel offer a stunning view of the Meuse River below. The citadel is also home to a museum that highlights the military history of the region. Compared to the other fortresses I've visited in Belgium, Dinant's citadel offers a unique perspective on the country's military history.
