As I scanned the streets of Dharavi, I was overwhelmed by the sight of a thriving community. With over one million people living in an area the size of a few city blocks, the ingenuity and resourcefulness of the residents was impressive. From recycling waste to producing handmade goods, the people of Dharavi make the most of their limited resources. Despite the challenges they face, the community is full of life and energy. It was humbling to witness their resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity.
