I had never seen anything like Devil's Punchbowl before. The steep cliffs surrounding the beautiful waterfall created a magnificent view. I scanned the rocks and found out that they were made of ancient quartzite that was formed 1.8 billion years ago. The water that flows into the Devil's Punchbowl is from the Roche-a-Cri Creek. The area has a vast collection of flora and fauna including river otters, muskrats, beavers, ducks and more. I have visited many similar natural wonders in my travels, but this one was particularly captivating. The history and scenic beauty of Devil's Punchbowl left me in awe!
